Content: The following information has been issued by the Department of Parks and Wildlife ALERT LEVEL: An ALL CLEAR has been issued for people in the vicinity of Logger Road off Brookton highway, 2 kilometres south-east of Karragullen in the City of Armadale. The bushfire that started on Logger Road early this morning is now under control. The danger has passed but you need to remain vigilant in case the situation changes. WHAT TO DO: • Drive slowly and with caution due to smoke and emergency services personnel working in the area. WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING: Fire crews are currently mopping up and will leave the area safe. ROAD CLOSURES: All roads are now open. RECREATION SITE CLOSURES: No recreation sites are closed. INCIDENT INFORMATION: Department of Parks and Wildlife firefighters and local volunteer bushfire brigades have been busy since the fire was reported. It is estimated 1.5 hectares were burnt. CAUSE: The cause of the fire was a burnt-out car. People are asked to report any suspicious behaviour to Police Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. No further updates will be issued.
