Weather Situation Very hot with fresh northwest to southwesterly winds about the Gascoyne and west Pilbara coasts on Sunday. Fresh southwest to northwesterly winds in the Gascoyne and South Interior on Monday. For the rest of Sunday 1 December: Severe Fire Danger in the following fire weather districts: West Pilbara Coast, Exmouth Gulf Coast and Gascoyne Coast For Monday 2 December: Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts: Gascoyne and South Interior If you are in a SEVERE or EXTREME Fire Danger area: The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) advises if a fire starts and takes hold it will be unpredictable, move very fast and be difficult for firefighters to bring under control.
