WAGING WAR AT BLUE TOP FARM !!!!! The mice have been winning, but the tide has turned and 3 females and 1 big Hombre has bit the dust. Yoo Hoo. This has been the worst year to date for mice at Blue Top. I had bought bait from Wal Mart/Tractor Supply and all I managed to do is make them grow and add cover:) So I talked with a Professional and he said the EPA has enforced so many regulations that what you by at the store is basically watered down. You have to have a licensed professional put out the bait and it has to be in bait boxes. They can only put it in certain places to ensure children & pets cant get a hold of it. The fines are quite expensive if they are reported. So there you go, we have resorted to the old fashion method. However it does seem that once you get them in a wood trap they want come near it again. I welcome any suggestions to help in our WAR:):):)
