~WAKE UP PEOPLE......Today, the deeper, and even scarier, meaning behind our embassy closings…Over the weekend, 22 of our embassies and consulates across North Africa and the Middle East were closed due to a credible terrorist threat. The threat was scary, but even scarier is what this means. The President’s reassurances aside, not only is al-Qaida NOT “on the ropes,” they’re not even intimidated. It’s not surprising, since a lot of people are taking pokes at America, from Vladimir Putin giving our NSA leaker asylum in Russia, all the way down to the local branches of Jihads R Us. Apologizing for American imperialism didn’t make other nations love us. Personally, when I’m going into a bad neighborhood, I’d rather be feared than loved. The fact that after more than a decade of waging war on terror, we not only face this threat, but capitulate to it…and that none of the other countries stepped up to defend our embassies… that means the world fears radical Islam. They no longer fear the forces of freedom. And that makes the world a very dangerous place.
