WALK with God Binhi sang Pagtuo April 28, 2014 Dear Friends, Greetings from Macau! In Hongkong and in Macau, we got accustomed to walking around and in some instances doing it in long distances. One of the stories after the resurrection of Jesus Christ is about two disciples of Jesu who were walking along the road to Emmaus. Jesus later joined them in this walk. What does it mean to WALK with God? W - Wait for God before you start your journey. Sometimes we just start our journey without the blessings of God. We need to wait for the signal of God if it is a go or not. A - Allow God to talk to you In the road to Emmaus the two disciples allowed a stranger (who they later discovered to be Jesus) to walk and talk with them. The conversation later resulted into a burning in their hearts. Like them we also need to open ourselves in a conversation with God. L - Let God hold your hand while you walk In our tour around, Francheska is assigned to walk with me, and Kairos with Hermely. They need to hold our hands while walking so that they will not get lost. Of course we need to call them from time to time because they sometimes wander on their own. This is the same with our walk with God. We need God to hold our hands s that He may guide us. K - Know God deeper while walking with Him Just like a tourist we need to study where we are going and oftentimes ask for directions so that we may know deeper our destination. Our map and guide in life is the Bible. We need to consult it always and ask fellow Christians our questions so that our faith will be strengthened. May God bless us all! Sincerely, Rev.
