WALKING IN THE LIGHT 11: Esther 3:1-6 Seeking true honour Most of the time, we fight over nothings and useless entities. Haman is so annoyed and angry that Mordecai refuses him homage. This is funny because Mordecai’s homage or no homage could not deprive him (Haman) of his royal dignity and promotions. He had the whole honour of the kingdom and still sought for a little extra. Once, Jesus told the disciples to seek true honours. They were told not to rejoice because evil spirits and satan bow down to them. They were to glory in the fact that their names were written in the kingdom of heaven. We need not seek the approval and applause of humanity. The greatest honour is to be welcomed into heaven and be called the true son/daughter of the Most High God.
