WALKING IN THE SPIRIT Walk in the Spirit and YE shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. I was in the Spirit on the Lords day ( rev.1:10). These and many more scriptures are the clear commands of The Lord to every believer. We are to be Spirits- filled, drink deep of His Spirit, live in the spirit, walk and have our being under the influence, control and guidance of the sweet Holy Spirit of God. Unfortunately, most believers are walking in the flesh, according to the dictates of their carnal nature. Rather than allow the leading, guidance and control of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we yield to the control of our carnal nature and become secular in our doings. Nowhere is this carnal tendencies much more pronounced than in church leadership. I have seen first hand the carnal politics, injustices, envies, jealousies, fleshly behaviours and premodial sentiments plays out over and over again in the church. Carnalities will kill our churches. Carnalities will drive out the Spirit of God in our midst. Fleshly ideas, fight for positions and lies will make our churches to be devoid of Gods transforming powers. More than anything else, carnal works, carnal infighting sand cravings for money, titles, positions and ethnic bias will render our churches powerless to change our country and continent for The Lord.
