WALKING INSIDE THE LOVE: When we receive the Blessings and promises of our father Abraham, Paul said that gentiles were “grafted in” as adoption. The Law became a school master and tutored. The Word of God through the Bible is for our growth. Would we give our children our inheritance to run our estate before they learn all the ramification of the estate? Absolutely not! They must learn how our estate works and how to do even the mundane jobs to keep it healthy in order to receive their inheritance. The same is true with the promise of Abraham’s blessings. When Abraham’s seed Isaac become of age and Isaac seed Jacob become of age; they were given Abraham’s blessings by the LORD God. The LORD God is still giving the blessings of Abraham to his dissentience. We who live in the West are just as much a part of Abraham’s blessings as those who live in the East, South, or North. We are brothers; that may live a half of world apart, but we are of the same blood line and there is no difference in the eyes of the LORD God. Jacob to me was an unusual character in that his dream was a “ladder set upon the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, “I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and God of Isaac: the land whereon thou dwell, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; and thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shall spread abroad to the West, and to the East, and to the North, and to the South; and in you and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. And behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou go and will bring thee again into this land for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of”. [Genesis 28: 10 through 15] So when Jacob awaked out of his dream he was afraid and said how dreadful this place is! This is none other but the House of God, and this is the gate of Heaven. Thus he called the name of that place Bethel; but the name of that city was called Luz at the first. “And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, IF God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will GIVE me bread to eat, and raiment to put on so that I come again to my father’s house in peace; THEN shall the LORD be my God”. [Genesis 28: 20] Did you notice Jacob saying: IF, GIVE, THEN in this verse? Did he have stipulations for God to be his LORD? Do we say IF, Give, and THEN shall the LORD be my God? (To be continued…)
