WALKING THE RED CARPET CHS Chorus’ A Night at the Grammys Concert [Inverness, FL, October 9th and 10th] For the past 6 years, the CHS Chorus has kicked off the school year by having a fall concert, keeping audience members at the edge of their seats. The fall concerts have been centered on themes such as OMGlee, Once Upon a Disney, and Rock of Ages. This year’s theme out-stages the rest, providing a variety of musical tastes and sounds. A Night at the Grammys will be a night to remember! The concert is held in the CHS cafeteria. Tickets are being sold at $7, and kids five and under have free admission. Concessions are available during the concert. All money raised will benefit the Citrus High Chorus program. A Night at the Grammys will be made up of five different choirs and specialty acts! Each and every song (or artist) performed has won at least one Grammy. Reminisce with songs such as Eye of the Tiger and Bridge Over Troubled Water, and enjoy today’s hits such as Happy and Somebody that I used to Know. The chorus director and all 126 students have worked hard to perfect the songs they are performing. Come walk the red carpet and experience A Night at the Grammys!
