WALKING THROUGH IT “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; . . .” (Psalm 23:4, NKJV) Psalm 23 is known as the shepherd’s Psalm. Known and often recited by many, this psalm expresses the comfort of one who knows of God’s continuous presence and protection. David in this verse writes of God’s presence in his life in times of danger. David writes that even when he was in the presence of death and destruction, he is not afraid, because God is with him. Notice how David phrases this verse. “Yea, though I walk through . . .” David understood that when trouble comes you can not sit and settle in it, you must “walk through” it. You must make up your mind that you are going to walk through the situation and not be stopped in it or be killed by it. Too many people set up residence and live in their valley’s, believing things will never change. For these individuals they are correct. If they do not decided to “walk through” it, things will never change. But when you have an “I’m going through it” mentality, the valley’s of life are only temporary. Let this be your mindset. No matter what the situation keep repeating, “As I walk through this valley, I will fear no evil, for God is with me.” You see if you are going through it, you will eventually come out of it. Keep WALKING THROUGH IT. Blessings my fb family.
