WALKING WITH GOD The Psychology of a Mad Man Christianity is not a set of dos and donts. It is not traditional, it is not conventional. True Christians have the Psychology of a mad man. A mad does not care who you are. He doesnt care about your feeling towards him. He doesnt care about his surroundings and immediate circumstances. He could be naked, he could be unwashed, he could be dirty, but he doesnt care. Who you are doesnt matter to him. He does not matter to himself. The only thing that matters to a mad man is the voice in his head. It gives him instructions and he obeys. He doesnt care if it is logical or not. He obeys promptly. People sing I am a radical for Jesus but it does in the song. The gospel when fully lived makes you behave like a mad man. You take decisions that are not logical, take steps that are directly against the CONVENTIONAL TRADITIONAL ways of doing things. Imagine God telling a man to go and marry a harlot. Hosea obeyed. People must have mocked him, prophets telling him God could not have said that. But he knew whom he heard. May you always know when you hear from God, in the name of Jesus. The gospel will mock you if you obey, people will think you are mad. How can you accept the proposal of a poor man, you wan die of hunger? They will mock you. You tell someone God asked me to tell you and he says look at them, prophet! and he will laugh. But at the end, they will celebrate with you. The gospel will mock you because its on its way to make you. YOU MUST MEET MOCKERY ON THE WAY TO GREATNESS if it has to be the gospel kind of greatness. If you have not been mocked before, then youre still am average Christian. All you need is the mentality of a mad man. To be rich, you have to scatter to gather. Thats the biblical principle. To be free, Jesus said take my yoke. THERES ALWAYS A CROSS ON YOUR WAY TO GLORY, carry it! Running away from it is running away from your greatness. May God give you the grace to carry the cross set before you. Its a choice. Its a responsibility. Abrahams blessing could be yours if you would like the gospel to mock you like it did Abraham. At the age of 80, Abraham was still believing for Isaac and making provisions for him. People must have mocked him. You need to hear, you need to obey. Thats the path to fulfilling your destiny. We preach Jesus is all you need to have your offer met, but it doesnt mean Hell do everything for you. Hell empower you to do for yourself. God can give a woman the fruit of the womb, but the woman has to do the pushing. Incidentally it all starts with being born again.
