WALLENDA CARRIES OUT CHICAGO SKYSCRAPER WALKS: Daredevil Nik Wallenda carried out two high-wire walks between Chicago skyscrapers yesterday evening (November 2nd), completing them without a safety net or harness and doing one walk while blindfolded. Thousands of people gathered around the Marina City towers to watch the 35-year-old member of the Flying Wallendas family carry out the walks. The first walk was between one tower to the top of a building on the other side of the river, a distance of 454 feet, and the other -- carried out blindfolded -- was 94 feet between the two Marina City towers. The Discovery Channel aired it with a 10-second delay to allow them to cut away if anything went wrong.
