WALTER A. COLEMAN SEPT. 26, 1921 - MAR. 05, 2004 Walter A. Coleman was born September 26, 1921. Mr. Coleman departed from his family, friends, and all those he touch lives with on March 05, 2004. A Native of Winston Salem, NC. Mr. and Mrs. Coleman and their children had and has resided in Red Springs, NC for many many years Mr. Coleman was in the U.S, Army and taught school for so many years until he retired. He and his companion were educators and some of their children followed in their foot steps. I myself was one of his student. One of his saying that always stuck with me until this day is when he knew you didnt study your spelling words as he had advise you to do for the next day, and you ask him how to spell it, he would say DRAW IT. Ill never forget it. He was determine that you learn your work. I liked Mr. Coleman, and he did not play at all. I end up marring a man very much like Mr Coleman. A great family man, smart, and they put their family first. I didnt know Mr. Coleman was in the Army also, so was my late husband. Mrs. Coleman and I got two great men, theyll both gone now, but what a great legency they left behind, and our children got the greatest fathers. God has truly BLESS US.
