WANT TO GUESS WHAT THE BIGGEST DISGRACE TO LOUISIANA IS? To my absolute horror, it appears that 86 year old, CONVICTED FELON, Edwin Edwards intends to run for congress. The fallout from this will be beyond imagination. First of all, Louisiana has been trying for years to distance itself from its reputaton of being a corrupt, bananna republic. Much has been accomplished in recent years. Now we face the prospect of being a national laughing stock, while this egomanical CONVICTED FELON, parades around the state, surrounded by his hordes of newsmedia, saying all his sarcastic, so-called funny comments. The thought of this makes me sick! The good news is that he will not win. Louisiana has come way to far to go back to the days of the corrupt Edwards. But he will get a lot of publicity, which is all he is really looking for in the first place. After it is over, he can go back to trying to sell reality shows with his goldigging child wife
