WANT TO LIVE FOR FREE? The Quarters is looking for some willing and able community assistants to help promote The Quarters on Campus. We are seeking students to work 20 hours a week. The compensation is a FREE apartment and FREE parking! If interested please send an email of interest along with your resume to Jennifer Messina at jennifer@quartersoncampus COMMUNITY ASSISTANT PROGRAM DESCRIPTION GENERAL SUMMARY: The Quarters on Campus seeks CAs to assist the leasing office and marketing department in day-to-day activities of promotion and office work. This program will provide valuable, real-world experience, as well as providing the staff and marketing team with additional administrative support DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Assist staff in leasing office with paperwork, phone calls, etc. •Promote all Quarters events through word of mouth, signage, Quarters apparel, and contacting University of Texas student organizations. •Distribute Quarters promotional items at The Quarters and University of Texas events. •Assist with the implementation of Quarters resident functions. •Assist with miscellaneous special projects •Must contribute 20 hours a week of work time (5 hours will be put towards marketing efforts) KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: •Effective project management skills •Ability to multi-task •Excellent communication skills •Initiative, drive, common sense, creative flair and flexibility •Outgoing/Extroverted personality SUPERVISION: Community Assistants report directly to Marketing Director and Leasing Manager. PHYSICAL EFFORT: The position involves minimal physical exertion, except when assisting in the production of a special event or promotion. Walking, lifting and time outside may be required on specific occasions.
