WANTED: MYANMAR OPERATIONS MANAGER MEBS Global, an international logistics and support service company, is seeking an Operations Manager for its Yangon office. The Operations Manager will be required to assist in establishing a nation-wide logistics network of transporters and warehouses, oversee customs clearance of company shipments, hire and train new operations staff, and coordinate between MEBS Global, the Myanmar government, and local vendors. Travel to remote areas of Myanmar may be required. In addition, candidate will provide support to MEBS Globals support services operations. For these duties the Operations Manager should have a general understanding of labor contracts, business license application and renewal, and visa application, and be conversant in local vehicle leasing and real estate conditions. The candidate for Operations Manager must be a Myanmar national with excellent spoken and written English skills, a strong work ethic, a valid Myanmar driver’s license, and experience working with either international logistics companies, UN agencies, or NGOs.
