Individual will advise the squadron commander on medical certification status of all personnel. Responsible for medical training programs (ie, CPR, SABC and TCCC). Medical liason between the medical community and the squadron concerning health care that directly affects the squadron. Ensures squadron compliance with OSHA regulations, appropriate Department of Defense and Air Force Regulations in Healthcare. Submits changes to regulations and operating instructions to 24 SOW/SG. Maintains currency in primary AFSC 4N071C and National Registry certification of a minimum EMT-Paramedic. Additional duties: Responsible for tracking individuals who are DNIF and ensures appropriate action has been taken to bring individual back up on status. Squadron Independent Duty Medical Technician (IDMT) responsible for medical coverage on operations and exercises. Responsible for medical intelligence briefing for real world operations. Medical planner/coordinator for contingency operations. Submits annual medical budget to squadron commander and resource management. Deploys in short notice and operates without direct oversight. Individual will be required to perform broad functional responsibilities encompassing all areas of medical support for special operational forces. Previous AFSOC/Special Tactics experience desired. Early Reporting desired. Qualifications 1. Must be at least a SSgt with a five/seven skill level and must already possess SEI 496 Independent Duty Medical Technician and be a current National Registered Emergency Medical Technician. Must have exceptionally high motivation and the aptitude necessary to excel at Paramedic formal training school. Current Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) certification highly desired 2. . Must have a minimum of three years experience in their applicable AFSC.. 3. Must possess, as a minimum, a secret security clearance. 4. Must be in excellent physical condition. Profiles restricting members participation in regular strenuous aerobic and anaerobic will not be permitted. 5. Must be self-motivated and an outgoing NCO. Must be able to work independently and under austere conditions. Be able to think outside the box. 6. Must be a Self-Aid Buddy Care Instructor, and a CPR instructor.. 7. Must be prepared to go TDY extensively. 8. Able to obtain four years retainability. 9. Must have excellent military bearing, appearance, and high moral standards. Must demonstrate high professional and military qualifications. No UIFs, Article 15, or history of financial instability. 10. Must have an overall rating of 5 on last five EPRs. B. APPLICATION: 1. .
