WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT (LAWRENCE, MA) image 1 compensation: DOE Leading National Food Manufacturer and Distributor in Lawrence, MA seeks: WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT (multiple positions available) The Warehouse Assistants primary responsibility is to assist the Warehouse Supervisor to receive raw materials and goods, load and unload shipments, prepare transfer shipments based on transfer order, organize warehouse, rotate inventory, and keep warehouse clean at all times. He/she must match Companys Purchase Order with Vendors Shipping Document and maintain the Companys receiving log required by Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Department to ensure quantity accuracy and quality compliance. He/she must operate Company forklift and pallet jacks when transporting warehouse items and comply with OSHA and Company safety guidelines at all times. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ability to lift up to 47 lbs. 2. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure of time constraints, work cooperatively in a team environment and demonstrates good organizational skills. 3. Ability to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish preferred. 4. Prior certification to operate Company forklift a plus, but will train.
