WARNING!! A government which blatantly breaks the law by bribing voters is in fact a corrupt and DANGEROUS government. The result is Constitutional CHAOS!! The purpose of a nation’s CONSTITUTION is to PROTECT US, the people. Corruption gives unfair advantages to those willing to break the law. It is said repeatedly that the UWP have in the past bribed and had voters imported, whether this is factual or not , I do not know. However, my questions to you are why didn’t the incumbent government , the DLP, whose job it was to uphold the law and ensure justice, speak out against and condemn this criminal act? Must this obvious disdain of the law continue under our watch? Public corruption takes a heavy toll on our communities and country. WE, THE CITIZENS ARE THE VICTIMS NOT THE POLITICIANS!! On the contrary, they become filthy rich while the people remain poor and dependent on these corrupt politicians. The most harmful consequence of corrupt governments is the indifference, the apathy- THE CULTURE OF ACCEPTANCE formed in the minds of the people. The people begin to simply accept corruption as the norm. They assume that the government is broken and destined to function corruptly. The consequences of this culture of acceptance in a country are many. Some lose interest in the electoral process, others lose faith in the government, others believe that they too, must engage in corrupt practices in order to gain government benefits, others become angry and vocal against the corrupt government and suffer from all sorts of victimization . This culture of acceptance makes it very difficult to detect, investigate and prosecute these guilty politicians as they hide critical evidence and bribe others to conceal their dirty deeds. I ask you today, what is your stance against this corrupt DLP administration? ROOSEVELT SKERITT’S METHOD OF HANDLING THE AFFAIRS OF THIS COUNTRY INDICATES A DICTATOR ON THE RISE!!! DOMINICANS MUST ADMIT THAT THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY, NO ACCOUNTABILTY IN GOVERNMENT AT PRESENT. WE THE PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS HAPPENING BEHIND THE SCENES IN THIS ADMINISTRATION! SKERITT AND HIS GANG ARE MORALLY DECAYED AND OVERNIGHT MILLIONAIRS!! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE?? Mr. Lennox Linton, victimized and maligned by Skeritt’s administration, like a lone voice in the wilderness have been crying out to Dominicans for years!! WAKE UP MY PEOPLE!! SET Dominica free from this greedy and corrupt government!!! Vote them out Dominicans!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, HE WHO HAS EYES TO SEE, LET THEM SEE. HE, WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR, LET THEM HEAR.
