WARNING!! DO NOT USE PARCELFORCE!!! Im writing this on behalf of Sally who has just been ripped off by Parcelforce (Im writing it because shes at work and exhausted by the whole affair.) Sally sold one of her awesome upcycled tables to a very eager customer, packaged the table perfectly and arranged to have it collected by Parcelforce from our house. The collection agent never arrived and I had spent al day waiting in for them as I cant hear the front door from the workshop. Sally decided to take the parcel to the main office the next day. There was no explanation as to why it had not been collected other than- yeah, that happens some times!!! No compensation for a service Sally had paid for, or the fuel used to take the parcel to the office. The parcel arrived with the client and the table was hopelessly smashed beyond repair. The client sent Sally pictures of the table and Sally was heart broken. She had spent a lot of time and energy on this piece and Parcelforce had destroyed it. Needless to say, Sally gave a full refund. After a long and drawn out series of exchanges with Parcelforce as Sally tried to get the compensation that she had paid for, they notified her today that no compensation would be forthcoming as the parcel did not fall under their compensation parameters. Yet the person at the Parcelforce office did not inform Sally of this when she took the parcel in? So, in short, Sally is £75, and one hand decorated table, down on the deal and has been forced, by Parcelforce, to disappoint a customer. A one off incident you may say? No reason for such an enraged status? Sadly no. This is the second time Parcelforce has done this to Sally. She had sold a hand painted bathroom cabinet with a mirrored front some weeks ago and it was also smashed to pieces when it arrived at the other end. Yet Sally chose to trust them again. DO NOT USE PARCELFORCE!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PACKAGES, ONLY YOUR MONEY!!!
