WARNING>>>>GRAPHIC PHOTOS URGENT help needed for “Ichabod’s” medical care This sweet little puppy was found on the side of the road near the shelter. He had 2 severely embedded shoestrings tied around his neck. The vet believes it had been there for at least a month and the poor little guy is only about 3 months old. After about 3 hours of surgery trying to remove the string and any infected flesh without doing more damage due to the depth of the wound, it appears that he came through OK so far. Needless to say the vet bills will be pretty high for his care as he will need to stay in the hospital for a few days and then need continued care for some time. If you are able to help with ANY amount Ichabod will be eternally grateful!
