WARNING GRAPHIC PICTURES. We would like to thank EVERYONE that participated in this particular rescue, the response was HUGE! Thank you Stéphanie for sending us pictures/location & removing chain. The sponsors (our fuel expenses, the medication fees & our amazing vet who sponsored his own vet fees). Vals K9 for driving/use of her van/crate & actually getting the dog who showed no aggression at all. Thank you to PAWS for taking him into your shelter (he will be staying at The South shelter so please those who wish to sponsor his stay/food contact them directly & he eventually will need to be sterilised so those who wanted to donate you still can). Now I would like to communicate a message with the public/locals. This poor dog once upon a time had an owner, how do I know this because he did not put this chain that caused the damage around his neck himself! Please DO NOT put chains directly on your pets necks. Use appropriate collars & do not strap them tight. This is not a recent wound, we do not know how long exactly this poor baby has been suffering but it was long enough to cause so much damage. The stupidity of the irresponsible person that did this is beyond belief. We are now asking you to share this information with others that you see using this crazy method.
