WARNING:GRAPHIC VIDEO - Meet Liberty. She is somewhere between 6-10 wks old. She has parvo. This video is her dying. She was given to a family a week ago. Family says the people who gave her to them said she had shots. If that was true....ONE round of shots will NOT prevent parvo. She was also full of worms and severely flea infested. She also got hold of a dirty diaper and began to eat it. That caused a blockage so she couldnt eat. The owner was bottle feeding her water. That just made it worse as we all know that a diaper will just expand when wet. The owners relinquished her to a rescue. Rescue rushed her to vet and had tests done. Little Liberty had no white cell count and her levels were awful. There was nothing they could do. Please note that the vet was with Liberty the entire time this was being videoed. She was no longer suffering at this point because they made her comfortable for the rounds of tests. It was decided to let her cross the Rainbow Bridge on her own. But for at least 2 days, maybe more, she DID suffer. Why did I post this video? Because I want everyone to see exactly what happens when an animal is not vaccinated. I am so tired of seeing animals, mostly puppies, that are so sick they cant be saved. And dont even get me started on people taking puppies that do not have the full 3-4 rounds of vaccinations into a pet store! For Gods sake people....please vaccinate your animals. NO ANIMAL should have suffered like this puppy did. NONE! Please know what to look for - the internet can give you the symptoms to look for. And geez....if you cant afford to vet then dont get the animal! R.I.P. Liberty..... hopefully this video will enlighten many people.
