Someone MUST start answering for practices like this. I am so tired of cruelty and laziness being swept under the rug when it comes to our beloved companion animals. it is bad enough we have to swallow euthanasia instead of NO KILL shelters, even though it has been proven time and again that NO KILL shelters work and are cost effective. I do not know why a life should depend on whats cost effective, but it does ... so I had to add that in. This article has literally made me SICK and there is much more coming out regarding the inhumane and cruel practices of this shelter. We should not have to ask that the POS who engage in these practices be removed from their jobs, but apparently that is what it will take. Actually, it will take a bit more most likely... Those elected officials who seem to have problems terminating uncaring, unfeeling county employees who are in jobs that require compassion and concern should also be replaced in the next election.
