WARNING! Graphic image! ResQ is proud to say we are not species specific in who is and is not worthy of rescue. We received a call from City of Shasta Lake about a chicken that was found in a Garage wounded and bleeding. After a trip to the vet it was found she was attacked by possibly a dog. A large area of skin was missing with bone and muscle exposed and a puncture leading to her abdomen in her back. We are happy to say that she is healing up well and is now able to perch! Shes a happy chicky and healing well.
