WARNING: I need to vent a bit here. So Im having dinner at the church where the blues concert will be held this weekend and the reviewer (?owner?) for Computer Audiophile is there. Am glad he received EnjoyTheMusics press release about live streaming the blues concert as we are doing our best to give Chad Kassem of Acoustic Sounds more (well deserved) recognition for his **many years** of hard work. Chad is also one of the only guys out there investing huge $$$ to preserve and record these legendary older blues guys before they move to the next stage in this universe. So I asked the Computer Audiophile guy if he let his readers know were streaming the event so his reader could enjoy the show too. He laughed and... So I wonder, how much has Chad done for the music industry, the high-fidelity audio industry, and perhaps, dare we say, given free music downloads (or test pressings) to many reviewers / editors. Is it really so difficult to let your readers know they can enjoy a free live, authentic blues concert online as they are computer audiophile so live streaming makes sense given his magazine content. Is it so horrible that said content it is on another website besides his own? Is it just me? Perhaps I have so much respect and love for Chad and what he is doing day-in and day-out that this is one thing that is really getting under my skin? Have never, ever griped like this on FB and so my apologies, yet I simply cant go to sleep tonight without venting a bit. My apologies if I sound like a whiney b__ch. Were talking authentic blues music... and decades of hard work from Chad Kassem, who has done so much for so many. Disclosure: Am not being paid a dime, Chad has not advertised with us in many, many years, and in fact am losing $$$$ and a week of my life helping Chad because I feel what he is doing is worth supporting with every reasonable ounce of effort and resources at my disposal. Again, my apologies for the rant.
