WARNING!!!!! I wanted to WARN everyone about Pyrex!!! With Thanksgiving coming up I would like to make sure that all of you stay safe. Tonight I was prepping for a weeks worth of protein and was cooking 3 very thick chicken breast in the oven at 375 for about 45 minutes. It was placed in my trusty Pyrex. I started to hear a noise coming from my oven I took the glass pan out to test the temp of my chicken When all of a sudden it shattered into a million little pieces. The glass shattered and landed into a the 5 lbs of steak that i was cooking. landed into my mixed green salad and my roasted yams. A weeks worth of food had to be tossed out and wasted due to this. I could have been injured and just thankful I was not hit with any of the flying pieces. I have had 2 friends post about this happening within the last month. My house is at 70 degrees so its not like the pan cooled too fast. Please be careful.
