WARNING! Im a person that grew up in Boston eating potatoes, so I still have potatoes just about every day of the week. I just bought another bag of them about 3 days ago. I opened up the bag today & there were maggots running around through them! I was horrified! I refuse to carry them back to the store with maggots running around! I think it is because the bag seemed to have a bit of moisture in it, although I always check. All seemed to be the same. Just be very careful when purchasing produce in grocery stores, inc. potatoes. In another store a while back, I bought expensive tomatoes, brought them home, went to use one the next day, and all were totally molded through.
