WARNING: Increased awareness is one of the side-effects of reading this post. A man and his wife once pulled into a gas station to refuel their car. So as the tank was being refilled, the station attendant washed the windshield, and when he finished, the driver of the car said, The windshields still dirty. Wash it again. Yes sir, the attendant answered, and he scrubbed the windshield a second time, then looked closely for any bugs or dirt he might of missed. When he finished, the man in the car became angry, and yelled, Its still dirty! Dont you know how to wash a windshield?! Do it again! So the attendant cleaned the windshield a third time, carefully looking for any place he might of missed, but he couldnt find a single messy spot anywhere, still, the driver was furious, and screamed, This windshield is..STILL..filthy! Im gonna talk to your boss, and make sure you dont work here another day! Youre the worst windshield washer, Ive..EVER..seen! As the man was about to get out the car, to go talk to the attendants boss, his wife reached over and removed his glasses, and carefully wiped them with a tissue, then put them back on his face. Suddenly, the driver felt extremely embarrassed, and slumped down in his seat, as he looked at a spotless windshield. MORAL: Critical people often view others through their..OWN..dirty glasses. In other words, the dirt on..THEIR..hearts, causes them to see everything from an unclean, critical perspective, and in turn, they become angry at what they..PERCEIVE..to be, dirt on..OTHER..people, when in actuality, theyre looking at others through the dirt on their..OWN..hearts. ~HASSAN ©Copyright 2014, Hassan.
