WARNING... LONG POST.... So as most of you know, Mark Ace Joseph and I, as well as our children, and a lot of others, have had a rough couple of days. Having to say goodbye to the absolute most wonderful companion God could have given us has been devastating to say the least. Didnt help that it had to be on Christmas :( We could not afford to have him privately cremated so that we could keep him with us. The hospital we took him to told us that the funeral home would pick him up and they would cremate him and place him in the pet flower garden. Today, I was very compelled to stop by that funeral home, I dont know why, I just wanted to talk to them and find out what and where they would be placing Gentry. Ironically, this is the same funeral home that my mother and grandparents were at. Anyway, Mike, the guy who met with us was so absolutely wonderful! He took us in a room, a family room...... To make arrangements!! It was awesome. He set us up with an affordable way to be able to bring our baby home. I can not say enough about Robert D. Loose Funeral Home.. They were so awesome today, they treated our loss with extreme compassion and NOT as if Gentry were just a dog. Because we ALL know, Gentry was not just a dog! Love to you all
