WARNING: OPINION PIECE After watching one of the worst segments produced for TV ever (and I’m not just butt-hurt that unicycling was the topic), I have to fume: 1. Since when does bashing a sport count as TV-worthy content? It was unicycling this time, but it could have been pogo, trampoline, parkour, wingsuit, or any fringe sport. 2. National Geographic? Really? The magazine contributors must cringe when they see what passes on the TV channel. 3. What ever happened to copyright?! These enormous media conglomerations sue individuals for millions of dollars for downloading songs or movies for personal use, yet they download YouTube videos from individuals and use them for profit at no expense? WTF?! 4. If youre of the mindset If you dont like it, just dont watch it, think again. YOU ARE PAYING FOR THIS. If you subscribe to cable TV or cable internet, youre paying for this garbage. Not to mention all the products that advertise. 5. No wonder intelligent people don’t watch TV anymore. None of this is my footage (I’m just in the background in a shot), but if it were mine, National Geographic would get an angry email from me.
