WARNING: Political, religious, possibly opinionated post to follow. If this sort of thing bothers you, avert your eyes. If you fail to do so and then complain about it, thats on you. I welcome and encourage discussion, especially if you disagree, so long as its based on candor, intelligence, and good will. Watching Morning Joe on MSNBC and the discussion is about the terrorism in France and the White Houses inability to call it what it is, Radical Islam. One of the hosts talking about Islam said its a good.. (Then he caught himself) a GREAT religion... Some of these people fall all over themselves to avoid any hint of criticism of Islam for fear of being called Islamophobes. IE Islamophobia-phobia. After that theres a story about Saudi officials who are punishing a blogger with 1,000 blows public caning (over a period of months) and 10 years in prison simply for expressing his point of view. This is just one example of many accounts of people being beaten, tortured, limbs cut off, stoned to death, etc for breaking the rules of Islam. The problem here is the great religion remark. If ANYONE else, any religion, any government, did this sort of thing they would be soundly rebuked in the media. But these dopes are so blind that in the name of political correctness and tolerance they HAVE to look the other way. But only for Islam.
