WARNING: SOAP BOX RANT Over 56,000 children have crossed the Texas border since October without their families from El Salvador and Honduras. In another sense, parents are sending their children off to another country in hopes of SURVIVAL. These Central American governments are losing their own battles. For those of you that wonder why America always has to play world police, clearly if we dont, those problems come to our doorstep! Many illegal immigrants are here in the US to escape persecution due to basic human rights. Please look up the process to legally gain access of citizenship. Its not as easy as we all think. It takes years, if not decades! Hopefully those persecuted during the Holocaust is coming to mind. People always ask, why didnt they just leave? Many tried to get visas but were DENIED! Now people are trying and were blaming them for it? Which piece of the cake do you want?! Yes we have homeless children here that are suffering, but I dont see those complaining about it doing anything to help them either. Im sure theyre the same people complaining about the government, but are just sitting back waiting on that to fix on its own too! Even if we did just deport them all today, it doesnt solve the problem. Theyre still coming. This is so much more than border patrol and illegal immigration here and its driving me nuts seeing the blatant ignorance of people that have no clue about the issues going on outside of their backyard..... ***drops the mic and steps off soap box***
