WARNING SPOILER ALERT!!!!! I have read a lot of angry posts about the ending of Assassins Creed Unity and Elise dying and therefore Arno 4ever alone and I will have to say is this in response to this hopefully vocal minority anger. STFU! Frankly I do not like the love story and the people crying over Elise because it ate the plot and allowed a lot of colorful historical characters in the French Revolution time period and a genuine Assassin Templar alliance. I know in the Age of cynical works such as Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones, shipping-related controversies such as the mothers death and the Swarkles divorce in HIMYM and all these bitter sad endings we want a happy hopeless romantic ending for once but frankly aside from the bioware and visual novel demographic gaming isnt the place to start shipping unless youre shipping them from an online retail store or youre waiting for pre-orders to ship to EB games. This demographic is more suited to engaging plot and drama as a whole instead of romance and melodrama, which isnt always done well. And there is a reason why Chris Avellone really deemphasizes romantic love while emphasizing camaraderie in his games. And furthermore the shipping crowd at least has a chance to be happy if Olicity gets canon in Arrow tv show(and since this is tv it could make up for Swarkles divorce in HIMYM finale) and if Dragon Age Inquisition ends well. Since season 3 of Arrow is underway and DAI is coming out soon well see if they do get a chance.
