WARREN PARK FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (WAFA) NEWS FLASH: * The WAFA Executive Board Meeting was held on Tuesday 20 August 2013 and Top of the Discussion was the Violent and Nasty scenes that occurred during the BIG EYES FC vs WESTLEA FC match on Sunday 18 August. Following consultation with The Chairman, Vice Chairman, Organizing Secretary and the various representatives of the Area Zone League Teams it was resolved that all Players fingered in the incident should be reprimanded for their Unsportsmanlike behavior. RECOMMENDATIONS: THE FOLLOWING PLAYERS HAVE BEEN HANDED A 6 MATCH BAN FOR THEIR PROVOCATION AND PARTICIPATION IN THE SAID FRACAS WHICH LED THE SUPPORTERS AND OTHER PLAYERS TO JOIN IN THE CHAOS: 1. Charles (BIG EYES FC)**** 2. Gerald (WESTLEA FC)**** 3. Allan (BIG EYES FC) 4. Munya (WESTLEA) **** Denotes the TROUBLE CAUSERS. THE ABOVE PLAYERS WILL SERVE AN EFFECTIVE 6 GAMES PENDING AN APPEAL. THE FOLLOWING PLAYERS WHO WHERE NOT PART OF THE BIG EYES vs WESTLEA GAME BUT ALSO JOINED IN THE FRACAS HAVE BEEN HANDED A 2 MATCH BAN AND UNFORTUNATELY CANNOT APPEAL AGAINST THE DECISION: 1. Simba (MILAN FC) 2. Richie (TOZOONEYI FC) 3. Abraham (Baba Zhu) (FC 39) THE WARREN PARK FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION DOES NOT CONDONE VIOLENCE IN WHATEVER FORM AND APPEALS TO ALL AN SUNDRY TO DESIST FROM SUCH UNWARRANTED BEHAVIOUR IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
