WARRIORS KNOW... THE GREATER THE CHALLENGES THE GREATER THE DESTINY!!! Even with the loss of their dad the Warrior girls have never taken their eyes off the goals they have and the dreams in their hearts. Indy realized her first charted milestone this weekend dancing Clara in THE NUTCRACKER. Since she was a tiny mouse at four years old she has told Warrior and me one day she would dance that role and she did indeed with such grace and beauty. Her Team Clara cheered and cried simultaneously especially as she blew Warrior the kiss she always reserved for him up to heaven at her bow. In keeping with her fathers attention to his legion of Warriors she also gave her first autograph to the most precious little girls who looked like American Girl dolls and posed with eager future Claras for pictures. I asked her what she wrote in their program and what she told me made me more proud than even her dancing. She smiled and told me she penned, I cant wait to come watch you dance Clara one day xoxo Indy. Even off stage and with an empty seat where her daddy should have been this weekend she personifies grace. Mattie was a fabulous party girl, mouse and lead peppermint but the moment she shone brightest was opening night bringing her sister flowers at bows. The pride on her face as she handed Indy the bouquet was priceless. Mattie knew that Indy had overcome a lot to grasp this lead role and relished her moment. Matties spotlight moment comes this weekend when she is Willy Wonka and SINGS (her true passion) and she recognizes all of us will be cheering her first lead role just as loudly as we depart the Land of Sweets and enter the Wonka Factory! With the challenges all of us face it is easy to become mired in the messiness of life. Try this week to shift your mindset and see the challenges as opportunities for promotion! Life is bitter-sweet but ultimately beautiful. You are not guaranteed anything but this day. Appreciate it and move yourself toward your goal! Overcome your challenges!! Grasp your DESTINY!!
