Sea Shepherd will hold a press conference tomorrow at Torshavn Harbor in the Faroe Islands, officially kicking off Operation GrindStop 2014. This multi-national, land- and sea-based campaign will feature hundreds of Sea Shepherd volunteers protecting pilot whales and other dolphins from the brutal mass slaughter known as the “grind”. Speakers at the press conference will include: Captain Peter Hammarstedt, Director of Ship Operations, Sea Shepherd Global; Lamya Essemlali, President, Sea Shepherd France and Campaign Leader, GrindStop 2014; and Scott West, Campaign Director, Sea Shepherd USA; Onshore Leader, GrindStop 2014. They will announce details of the campaign and a European call to action.
