WATCH OUT for Zimecterin Gold Wormer! Shared Post: I dont know if this has anything to do with are area but just wanted everyone to know just like Melanie I need your help with something. On Wed, 10/23, we dosed our three horses with Zimecterin Gold which started a chain of events where we had TWO horses colic that day, with one able to recover within three hours, but the other one in terrible pain for HOURS, from 4:00 p.m. into the wee hours of the morning, and who has suffered residual effects from the ZG all the way through today (Sat, 10/29). The vet has had to come out FOUR TIMES between Wed and tonight (left here at 9:30). He had to give her a plasma and saline IV, since she has been unable to drink because of the chemical burns this dewormer caused (and were just hoping and praying it did not burn her stomach, intestines, or colon). I want to warn everyone I can about this product and tell them about what we just went through. I know you keep in touch with a large group of horse people in this area, so I thought you might suggest the best way to get the word out. (Email? Facebook? The Ning group?) Im not very good at the Facebook thing, and much more comfortable with sending out an email. I dont think the Ning group is active enough to ensure that enough people will read it. What do you think?
