WATCHED SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS -- I am stating this in the most humble way and with total gratitude. I am a fourth generation of actors, from my great-grandma to acting with my dads father, my grandpa performing onstage with him and my mom at age 3, I went on to star in films and television shows, some groundbreaking for the film and television industry, to directing award-winning films, to creating groundbreaking pilots for television, to creating and producing the longest standing and most prestigious American Indian & Indigenous Film Festival, to founding the first internet American Indian Television Channel, to founding the longest standing Native Arts & Culture non-profit organization in Los Angeles, and being the longest standing American Indian member of the Screen Actors Guild and YET there was not one native face in the audience nor being nominated.
