WATER SUPPLY STATUS UPDATE December 26, 2014 As of 9:00a.m., Friday, December 26, 2014, BCWD Filtration Plant is now partially operational. Flushing of the 900mm diameter transmission line from the source to the Filtration Plant is on-going. Water pressure is now slowly returning back to normal. However, as a precautionary measure, we suggest the consuming public to store water to meet domestic needs. This is in preparation in case BCWD will be forced to once again suspend the operation of the Infiltration Gallery due to high incidence of water turbidity at the source. In case BCWD will suspend the operation of the Infiltration Gallery, the entire service area of BCWD will once again experience low water pressure. Five (5) pumping stations will be operated to augment the water supply of the city. We sincerely regret the inconvenience. Thank you very much for your understanding.
