WATERWOOD, TX MUD 2013 REFERENCE: Letter from Waterwood MUD, received around 25 Aug 2013. No date. Subject: Triggered Source Monitoring and Reporting Violation Ground Water Rule Upon receiving this alarming letter from our new MUD, which indicated to me we had FECAL material in our water, (second paragraph, second sentence): I sent an email to many of you informing you of this. Some of you said you did not get this letter from the new MUD. Others of you did not notice there was a POSITIVE result and concentrated on the fact that the new MUD just missed performing some required tests. If you did not get this letter you may want to contact the new MUD at Waterwood MUD, 2 Waterwood, Huntsville, TX 77320 or 936-650-9848. If you talk to KIM, you might get one story, if you talk to the boss Donnie Duke, you might get another story. I did! What you should have picked up on was the fact that we may have had SHIT in our water! As proven by my lack of attendance at MUD meetings over the last 12 years, I have never before had concerns about our water in Waterwood. I have only attended 1 MUD meeting in all my years here. That was when I heard there was a possibility of changing management to a company that had almost ZERO experience in operating a MUD, just to save money. Due diligence apparently was not done. Many things have gone downhill since that change in management. I hope those of you who care about your water supply will show up at the 17 Sept 2013 MUD meeting at 3PM (WIA Office Conference Room). It will be my 2nd time in 12 years. I hope it is your first time. If you don’t show up, you deserve what you get in your water and all its effects. This is being sent to everyone I know in Waterwood, and obviously, I don’t know everyone. Please tell all your friends about this. The new MUD Board will also get a copy of this so they have time to prepare whatever response they will have at the 17 Sept meeting. I know and respect all the members of the MUD Board. They are good and well motivated servants of Waterwood. Together we can work this out. WE HAVE TO!!! I will have a few things to say, and a few questions for our new MUD.
