WAY TO GO, BOCA HIGH! Kudos to my friend, Dr. Geoff McKee, Boca Raton Community High Schools esteemed principal, all the dedicated teachers and staff, and the amazing students for Boca Highs national rank of #22 in the new list of the nation’s most challenging high schools, as compiled by Jay Mathews of The Washington Post and released yesterday. Congratulations also to Suncoast at #8 and Dreyfoos at #69. Other county schools included in the ranking are Spanish River #375, G-Star #498, Wellington #573, Park Vista #647, Jupiter #925, Olympic Heights #1091, and West Boca #1806. With fewer than 2,200 high schools included in these national rankings, this is quite an feat for my home county!
