WCMMA 15 RESULTS Friday the 13th saw Warrior Challenge MMA blow the roof off the Troxy it may have been world cup week but the fans were out in force with over 100 shows to his name Dave O’Donnell never lets you down if you want action and feel the buzz of an MMA show then go no further, warrior challenge has it all and more this was the fifteenth instalment in the country’s top semi –pro and amateur promotion but you felt like you were back at cage rage the fighters get the full package UFC ref’s ring girls big TV production and the feeling that they will never forget . Boasting a full, 17-fight card, including 3 UK-1 bouts and two title fights, WCMMA 15 was the great night of fights that we expected. The main event saw the first of two champions crowned as Clayton McLean continued his unbeaten record , finishing Mervin Pobi via a rear naked choke in the very first round and still holding onto the welterweight belt. The middleweight belt was won in the first round after Loic Williams’ leg lock attempt gave his opponent the mount. From here, Alex Lohore landed an onslaught of strikes leading to a TKO stoppage. Mr Lahore said i’m so proud to be the middle weight camp this is only the start. Other highlights on the night included a three round UK-1 war between Justinas Zilinkas and Hawinder Sira that earned a Fight of the Night recognition. From the opening bell, the two warriors stood toe-to-toe being urged on from the incredible crowd, particularly Sira’s family, who were on their feet singing out chants of ‘The Tiger’. In the end, the tiger claimed a unanimous victory. WCMMA 15 also saw the return of World Record holder, Mike Garrett, who didn’t disappoint, once again knocking out his opponent with his first punch, taking a whole four seconds this time. An unbelievable night of fights, witnessed by UFC Light-Heavyweight contender, Jimi Manuwa in the crowd, saw seven first round stoppages and only eight decisions on a night where every fighter put on a great show win lose or draw they step in the cage and give the fans what they want .
