WE ARE A REFLECTION OF EACH OTHER There is nothing to fear but fear itself. There is nothing to hate but hate. There is nothing to judge but prejudice. Yet, there is always love to conquer all. And if we choose to harbor these things Fear, ethnic hatred, tribal prejudice and gossip We suddenly burden our hearts and souls And woefully impede our chances to grow. And since our love can conquer hate We only begin the true journey of healing The moment we let go the hate and fear. So love may find room to flourish in us. The choice is ours, to love or to hate The reward is ours, to reap what we sow To suffer the burden and the shackles of hate Or to enjoy the freedom of love and peace What we choose, we have and so become And in others we see mirrors of who we are The beauty and love, or the ugly and hate Or to enjoy the freedom of love and peace We are a reflection of each other Via Jeff Kenyatta
