WE ARE HIRING! DETAILS: Speedworld is looking for someone who is FUN, ENERGETIC and ENTHUSIASTIC to join our Pit Crew! This is a Part-time permanent job with between 13-20 hours a week (evenings and weekends). No experience necessary but you must have transportation to and from work and be able to work shifts including (Monday to Thursday 5pm to 11pm: Saturday 10am to 6pm and 6pm to 12am: Sunday 12pm to 5pm and 5pm to 10pm). Attitude is everything. Must be great with customers with a fun and outgoing personality who is easy to get along with but can still get the job done. Cashier Duties include: • Welcoming customers to the track • Communicating prices and options to customers • Good knowledge of pricing and race options required • Assisting customers with questions • Sales (using POS system) • Registering drivers into races • Ensuring customers have correct account data • Answering telephone calls • Making reservations • Customer service post race • General cleaning duties in the waiting area, party room and restrooms • Clearing and salting steps in the winter Candidate should have the following attributes or skills • Able to work independently • Works well under pressure in a fast paced environment • Highly organized • Friendly • Outgoing • Trustworthy • Reliable • Good with numbers / working with cash • Good problem solving skills • Ability to multitask Track Marshall Duties include: • Advising Customers of rules before they enter the track • Ensuring safety of drivers by administering track rules • Starting karts • General kart maintenance (checking oil, brakes, seats, lube chains etc.) • Basic kart maintenance as trained • Operating timing system • General cleaning tasks Candidate should have the following attributes or skills • Able to work independently and in a group/team environment • Easy going and friendly • Ability to multitask • High organization skills • Motivated • Trustworthy • Physically fit and capable of lifting 50 pounds and starting karts (pull start - like a lawnmower) • Fun to be around • Patient with good communication skills • Confident APPLY WITH RESUME!!!!
