Retail Wine Consultant Scope of Responsibilities Mastronardi Estate Winery is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, and customer service oriented individual to join our retail sales team. Part time positions are available for day, evening, and weekend work. As a member of our sales team you will be required to engage with our customers in meaningful, professional manner, develop knowledge of our products, and maintain our inventory protecting it from damage, loss and theft. Competencies Required Our ideal candidate will: - Must be SMART SERVE Certified - Work effectively and multitask in a customer service focused environment - Cleaning and Maintaining all areas - Have valid drivers license and vehicle - Have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills - Be a quick learner and demonstrate a thirst for knowledge - Enjoy working in a team environment - Be extremely detail oriented - Be comfortable engaging with the public - Be an enthusiastic and dynamic person - Have a strong sense of responsibility and dedication to their work. -Be able to work weekends Qualifications a) Previous retail experience is necessary b) Wine knowledge is a huge asset c) Must be at least 19 years of age Specific Job Components (a) Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs. (b) Available to work weekend and evenings (c) Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices. (d) Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment. (e) Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
