WE ARE HIRING!!! SGM, Western Colorado’s leading civil engineering firm, is currently seeking a Civil Engineer with Land Development emphasis to join its team in Glenwood Springs. SGM endeavors to provide, innovative, practical solutions to its Western Colorado clients while promoting the health and safety, and welfare of its local communities. The successful candidate will, at a minimum, has a current Colorado PE license in civil engineering or related field, project management experience with strong performance record, AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency, and excellent client service skills. Ideal candidates would possess a Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field, 5 – 10 years of consulting engineering experience, provide engineering expertise in land development, planning and design of projects, adeptly manage all aspects of assigned projects, and build and maintain long-term client relationships. Additional preferred qualifications are: 3+ years of experience as a lead client service/relationship manager, 2+ years of direct staff supervision experience, strong desire to mentor entry-level engineers, track record of successfully developing new business, experience authoring technical articles and delivering conference presentations, and are also an active member of relevant professional organizations. Excellent technical, communication and interpersonal skills along with a strong desire to love, work and play in the Rocky Mountains are essential.
