This position will provide product analysis results using appropriate measurement devices on first article, incoming products and finished goods. Location: Hebron, IN Requirements & Responsabilities: • Provide dimensional assistance through inspection and testing, using blueprints, engineering standards, and specifications. • Strong background in G, D, & T • Maintains lab per laboratory scope and ISO 9001 • Perform the measurements for purchased parts for: Incoming Inspection, Initial Samples, First Piece, Product Audits, Layout Inspection and Problem Solving • Conduct Gage R & R & capability studies on products and tooling • Support: Engineering, Purchasing and Quality with measurement competence • In case of non-conforming product escalate to the relevant function for disposition • Verification of gages, manage calibration in Gage Trak and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) for all measuring systems, including verification of check fixtures after maintenance is completed, as needed • SPC experience considered a plus • Knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Powerpoint • Train and develop colleagues on measurement methods and competence
