WE ARE ONE! I BEG TO DIFFER. The notion being created that we are a united nation is one too fallacially theoritical thats lacks both basis and genuineness. The truth,as it stands,is that we are as divided as heaven and earth,Luos and Kikuyus,evil and good.The brave show of unity displayed by The president and the opposition leaders is short-lived,malicious and carters for their own self-interests. Last night when I asked my kikuyu neighbor what a mall is,she looked at me for a long time and said "haki ungekuwa na pesa mingi ungenioa."I laughed not that it was funny but because i understood the ultimate meaning of her stament. Dear Kenyans,when Mercy keino was allegedly murdered,when the ill-fated city to city bus fatally swerved off the road into a ditch killing everyone.When the 2007 post election violence was being masterminded or when i lost my uncle coz someone stabbed him on the belly seven timen,were we not united? Alshaabab will strike again,again and again we wont be united until it has to do with those who matter in the society. True unity cannever be displayed in times of grief,and until a nation is able to infiltrate sense into its legislators beyond party affiliations.Until the executive is fair enough to handle security matters with men and women who are highly qualified and not with tribal outfits who may be without enough skills or intelligence.We will remain divided;a tribe against a tribe,a brother against in laws,a neighbor against a neighbor.I wait for the day when economic balance shall be national and not regional,when every tribe shall not hold grudges against others in the name of stolen elections,when political assassinations and intimidations shall be no more.We are currently NOT UNITED AND NEVER WILL BE FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS.
