WE ARE sorry to announce that two members of staff will be leaving our organisation shortly. Amreen Rafiq has worked for the organisation for five years. She began as an administrator and during the time with us gained valuable skills and knowledge in all areas of the business and built up a wide network in the Teesside area. Earlier this year Amreen was appointed Service Officer working as a member of our County Durham Team. She has contributed to many fundraising events and has volunteered her time extensively during her time working for MAIN. Amreen will be leaving us to join Thornaby Academy where she will be heading up the new Autism Unit. Tracy Chapman joined MAIN in April as Finance Officer this year but it seems like Tracy has worked for the organisation for much longer as she has volunteered her time extensively for a year before she was appointed by MAIN. In the short time we have got to know Tracy she has become a valuable member of the team. Her contributions into all matters relating to the business has proven her to be an asset that will be missed. Tracy has been heavily involved in all fundraising activities during her time with MAIN. She is leaving us to join an accountancy organisation in Stockton. Both staff leave our employment with the highest regard and our very best wishes for their futures. WE ARE delighted to announce Yanela Ntlauzana, who has worked for the organisation for over a year has been appointed Service Officer for County Durham. Yanela began working for MAIN as an outreach worker in our clubs and as a PA. Earlier this year she was promoted to facilitator working on our Durham contract and also as an Events Co-ordinator delivering training for MAIN. We would like to offer Yanela our congratulations and wish her the very best in her new role with MAIN.
